Description of Service:


Ages birth-12 with social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties and/or with a diagnosis of ASD.  Some clinical services are provided for youth to the age of 16.

Description of Service

Early Intervention Services: West Toronto Preschool Speech and Language Services: assessment and treatment.

Every Child Belongs: Assessment, intervention, consultation and staff training to childcare centres in Etobicoke.

Consultation and Support Team (CAST): Provides assessment, brief intervention and parent skill development, specialized psycho-educational support and early intervention groups, workshops and seminars for parents and school/board personnel and other professionals, as well as referral for specialized assessments/consultations.

Kindergarten Readiness programs in conjunction with TDSB.

Treatment Services:

Intake: Provides linkage to community resources and some support services while families are awaiting services.

Group Services: Provides a variety of evidence based early intervention and treatment groups in the community and at the centre.

Walk in Service: single session counseling with possible referral for further service

Child and Family Services: Provides a range of assessment (not autism diagnosis) and counselling services including family therapy, individual/play therapy, brief therapy, group therapy, parent education, service coordination, psychiatric, psychological and speech and language consultation.

School Priority Access Service: Provides a range of assessment and counselling services for clients referred from the School Board.

Intensive Child and Family Services: A collaborative and adjunctive service that provides short term intensive treatment programs.

Mental Health Services for Children ages 0 - 6: Provides early identification, intervention and treatment to children to the age of 6 years and their families.

Day School Milieu Treatment Program: Provides school placements and support services for children who cannot attend community schools because of emotional and behavioural issues.

Toronto Autism Applied Behavioural Analysis (TA-ABA) services: Group services for children with a diagnosis of ASD.

Toronto Partnership for Autism Service (TPAS): Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) for children diagnosed with ASD.

West End Sexual Abuse Treatment Program: Service coordination and treatment services for clients who have been the victims of sexual abuse, following a trauma assessment.
