Description of Service:


Children with a developmental disability in two or more developmental areas i.e. social, communication, gross/fine motor, cognitive, self help, play skills.  Infants at risk of developmental delay due to very low birth weight or premature birth.

Specialized Preschool Service: Morning and afternoon preschool programs for children (ages 2 - 5). Typically developing children are also included. Volunteers, supervised by teachers, provide 1:1 support.

Infant Development Program (also known as Early Intervention Service): In-home program, ages 0 – 5, no fee, consultative support to families attending community programs such as Early Years Centres.

Parent/Infant Program: Weekly parent/baby resource and activity program for infants with special needs. Currently offered in Etobicoke.

Child Care Consultation: Special Needs Resource Consultants support child care centres to ensure the inclusion of children who require extra support.
