Eligibility
Accredited children's mental health centre offering services to children and youth ages 0-18 and their families, who are experiencing or are at risk of developing social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties.
Description of Service
Prevention and Early Intervention Programs: parenting and related children’s programs, preschool speech and language services, outreach and support to pregnant and parenting teens/young families, children’s social skills groups in schools and group support to children witnessing women’s abuse.
Counselling Service: What’s Up Walk in Counselling – open 5 days/week, Individual and Family Counselling, Child Welfare Diversion programs including KFT and WrapAround, Trauma Assessments and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy: individuals 18 and younger and their families.
Youth Space: at Jane St. Hub (Jane and Trethewey). Offers youth engagement and skill building opportunities.
Youth Outreach Worker Program: in priority neighbourhoods of Weston, Mount Dennis and Jamestown/Silverstone/Mount Olive.
